A parent coach specializes in supporting parents with an intentional process. Our goal is to help parents navigate challenges with their children and gain clarity to strengthen their family lives.
What are common issues you can help with?
What are common issues you can help with?
I support parents by helping them understand the root of their childrens’ behaviors so they can respond to them more effectively. I provide guidance on managing toddler tantrums and picky eating, handling teenage rebellion and avoidance, gaining cooperation without bribes or rewards, and going through times of balancing independence and trust.

What is the difference between parent coaching and therapy?
Coaching is a collaborative process where you choose the goals you want to work on or the situations you want to improve. Therapy’s goal is to improve functioning where a lack of function is present. If the issues are beyond my scope of expertise, I will make a referral to the appropriate mental health provider.
